Real-time monitoring and early warnings of landslides and mudslides in the dump are enormous problems. In terms of the regional geological survey of the open-pit mine, it is urgent to adopt new technologies and new methods to monitor the deformation of Dump in order to maintain a safe work environment and continue to develop the coal/iron belt. Based on the principle of distributed optical fiber monitoring and the occurrence mechanism of mudslide in the dump can be monitored live and early alarm can be raised with the location of concern.
